The Beatles Abbey Road

SIGNS OF THE TIMES: News that the Beatles' famous recording studio, Abbey Road, is to be sold was met by sadness by many traditionalists. But it is indicative of a digital revolution in the industry, bringing more freedom to artists to produce, market and deliver their own music inexpensively and professionally.

This cartoon references the Beatles' famous (and oft parrodied) 1969 Abbey Road album cover.

Peanuts Does Abbey Road Anamorphic chalk drawing
THIS PEANUTS version is an anamorphic chalk drawing (not by Schultz). The photographer was allowed ten minutes to stand on a stool to get the right angle to shoot it, while traffic police stopped the traffic.

NOT TO BE OUTDONE, The Simpsons have also crossed that road, as shown by this tribute by Matt Groening.
